அதிகாரப்பூர்வ அறிவிப்பின்படி, Project Accountant பதவிக்குத் விண்ணப்பிப்பவர்கள் பின்வரும் தகுதிகளில் ஏதேனும் ஒன்றை பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும்:
- அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட பல்கலைக்கழக பட்டப்படிப்பு மற்றும் Chartered Accountants நிறுவனத்தின் Intermediate Examination தேர்ச்சி
அல்லது - Associate Membership அல்லது அதற்கு சமமான தொழில்முறை தகுதி
அல்லது - அரச சேவையில் Class III/II அதிகாரி நிலை அனுபவம்
மேலும், தொடர்புடைய துறையில் குறைந்தபட்ச post-qualifying அனுபவமும் அவசியமாகும்.
Finance Officer – கல்வி மற்றும் அனுபவத் தகுதிகள்
Finance Officer பதவிக்குத் விண்ணப்பிப்பவர்கள் பின்வரும் தகுதிகளை கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும்:
- அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட கல்வி நிறுவனத்தில் Degree அல்லது NVQ Level 7 தகுதி
அல்லது - NVQ Level 6 அல்லது Level 5 சான்றிதழ்
அதற்குடன் தொடர்புடைய துறையில் 2 முதல் 8 வருடங்கள் வரை அனுபவம் தேவைப்படலாம்.

Project Accountant & Finance Officer Vacancies 2026
The Ministry of Health & Mass Media has officially invited applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the posts of Project Accountant and Finance Officer under the Primary Healthcare System Enhancing Project (PHSEP) for the year 2026.
The PHSEP project is implemented with financial assistance from the World Bank and aims to improve the accessibility and quality of primary healthcare services across all districts of Sri Lanka during the 2024–2028 project period.
According to the official vacancy notice, these positions will function under the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the project. Professionals with qualifications and experience in accounting, finance, project administration and financial management are encouraged to apply before the closing date.

Project Accountant – Qualifications and Experience
According to the official advertisement, applicants for the Project Accountant position should fulfill one of the following qualification categories:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field recognized by the University Grants Commission together with completion of the Intermediate Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
or - Associate Membership or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognized professional institution
or - Experience as a Government Officer in a Class III/II position in the relevant field
Applicants must also possess post-qualifying experience in the relevant sector.
Finance Officer – Qualifications and Experience
Applicants for the Finance Officer post should possess one of the following qualifications:
- A recognized Degree or NVQ Level 7 qualification
or - NVQ Level 6 or Level 5 certificate in a relevant discipline
In addition, candidates are expected to have between 2 to 8 years of experience in the relevant field depending on the qualification category.
Salary and Benefits
The official notice states that the selected candidates will receive attractive salary packages based on the Management Services Circular No. 02/2026.
- Project Accountant Salary: Rs. 250,000 – 270,000
- Finance Officer Salary: Rs. 150,000 – 165,000
